The restaurant: a "carmen" in the Albaicín
Los Jardines de Zoraya is a restaurant that offers dinner with a show, inside one of the traditional buildings of the Albaicín known as “carmen”. The cármenes are typical houses of the historical neighborhoods that are characterized by having a green space with a garden or orchard, once owned by the Granada Arabs of the city.
The room: the tablao
The interior room is both a dining room and a flamenco tablao, where dinner is usually served and the show takes place. In this place the acoustics and the space is prepared for the staging of musical performances. However, it is also possible to have dinner or a drink in the garden of the “carmen” if the client wishes.
The terrace: a garden
You can enjoy and relax in our cozy garden terrace, located behind the old mosque of the Albaicín, while dinner is taking place. The sound of the water gushing from the Nasrid fountain and the intoxicating smell of aromatic plants create a magical atmosphere to spend summer evenings or sunny winter afternoons.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE DINNER AND SHOW
The restaurant Los Jardines de Zoraya, has been organizing dinner shows in Granada for more than a decade, for all those art and culture lovers. Our house is a place that welcomes all those who want to discover the art of flamenco, combined with an excellent gastronomy.
General admission to the tablao is 25 euros per adult and from 7 to 12 years old 15 euros. Children under 7 years old are free of charge. Dinner is not included in this price. Only the performance.
Different menus and prices are available. We have the menu “Flavors of Andalusia”, which features typical dishes of the area and costs about 35 euros. However, we can design customized menus for groups, to enjoy the best dinner and show in Granada.
